The Veterans Entrepreneur QuickStart Program (VETQ) offers an instructor-led, 4-week entrepreneur training course that provides individualized training to veterans who plan to start their own business or find jobs leading to entrepreneurial success in the future.
The VETQ program is designed to help service members and spouses successfully transition to civilian life while also helping other veterans create sustainable income thru self-employment.
The services we provide to veteran owned businesses include:
- Web site development assistance
- QuickBooks accounting assistance
- The support of the business mentor assigned to their start-up team
- The support of the other team members that they have trained with
- The support of the regional cohort that they belong to
- A completed business plan
- A marketing plan
- A financing plan
- Access to networking with similar businesses included in the cohort region
- A winning resume that includes skills acquired through VETQ training
- An individual self-employment plan
